It’s Time to Reclaim Responsibility for Your Life

.
Please stop the blame.

And start taking full responsibility for your life!

I fall on this mistake at times. I have fallen in the past and may fall in the future. But you and I must not yield! We must take charge of our life.

We may commit this mistake every now and then but this shall not stop us from standing up once again and again to reclaim the responsibility we have in our life.

Dan Miller writes in the foreword to the book The Eventual Millionaire by Jaime Tardy, “If you blame, point fingers and make excuses, you’ll block any chance for financial success. But you can open floodgates by taking full responsibility for where you are, and can create the future you want, starting today.”

Have you been blaming lately? Have you been blaming in the past 20 years of your life?

Blaming others of your challenges, problems, and setbacks takes away the control you have in the situation. Sure it is not all your fault. But hey, neither does any other person takes the responsibility of all the circumstances happening. What happens around is caused by multiple factors but you have the choice to take control of your own life by reclaiming the responsibility for your life.

Please stop the blame.

Yes, the government may have a lot of issues. Your parents may have issues. Your employer may have issues. All have issues.

These are facts of life!

The question is what are you doing with your life? Are you taking charge?

Do you take the responsibility to educate yourself and apply what you learn in your job or in your business? Do you take responsibility and make the decision to make the most of your life by doing things you ought to do?

Do you take responsibility by looking at ways how you can grow your money rather than merely attacking the abuses of certain government officials? Yes, we condemn the bad action but aren’t you condemning yourself too by relinquishing to them the control to your life by blaming them and not doing anything for yourself?

Do you take responsibility to talk to your boss and negotiate procedures or to talk to your business partner and negotiate arrangements rather than blaming the system? Sure the system have issues but aren’t you aggravating the issues in the system or structure by blaming it?

Yesterday, you and I may have fallen into this pit. Tomorrow, we might. But today, let us reclaim this responsibility.

This is our life. This is our full responsibility. Your life is yours. My life is mine. And we are called to support each other by reminding each one of us to take full responsibility for our lives.

The challenge for you and me is to take this back. It has been with us since the beginning but it might have been lost through the hard times when we allowed ourselves to blame outside factors rather than looking at those we can control.

And when we do this, we claim in faith – as the words of Dan Miller would say – you can open the floodgates by taking full responsibility for where you are, and create the future you want, starting today.

Live your life, young mind!
